Book Walk

We will introduce the “Book Walk” as an approach to reading a picture book with a child. Book Walks help increase a child’s interest with the text which boosts comprehension, vocabulary skills, and confidence. In addition to walking and talking through a text with a parent, students will participate in two crafts as well as go home
with a popular author’s picture book.
